We are looking for a talented Finance Manager located in the UK with exceptional organisational skills, who is extremely proactive and professional and has a passion for all things Finance.
This opportunity will suit someone with who is passionate about numbers, has a positive can-do attitude and is looking for a dynamic and varied role.
You will be responsible for monitoring project performance, liaising with internal stakeholders, daily financial transactional support and other ad-hoc financial duties.
Responsibilities include: Weekly project reconciliation updates from timesheet system Monitoring of all active projects on the timesheet system to ensure completeness of accounts Providing financial support for day-to-day finance transactions such as employee expenses, purchase invoices, sales invoices and bank transactions Multi-currency transactions Detailed analysis of some management account balances for SMT review Ad hoc financial duties as required The successful candidate will be or has been working in a finance team and must understand the principles of project accounting (although not necessarily working in a project accounting role) and the financial implications of posting transactions.
Experience Needed: Experience of working in an accounting role Ideally part qualified / qualified by experience will be considered Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts would be an advantage Good excel and general IT skills You are a hardworking, enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated, and hands-on individual with a strong work ethic.
