Finance Manager

I am currently partnering with a dynamic, market leading property firm based in London who are looking to bring on a Finance Manager to join their growing.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial functions of the business, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, VAT submissions and payments, work-in-progress (WIP) calculations, project final accounting, commission/bonus calculations, and CIS return processes.
Ensure full compliance with accounting standards and financial reporting regulations.
Provide financial analysis and strategic advice to senior management, focusing on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall financial performance.
Manage company cash flow and liquidity, regularly monitoring cash balances and optimizing financial resources.
Supervise the preparation of financial statements and reports, presenting key financial insights to senior leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align financial objectives with broader business goals.
Assist the Group Financial Controller (GFC) in developing and implementing robust internal controls to protect company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, HMRC, insurers, and auditors.
Support the GFC during the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in financial management to ensure optimal company performance.
Manage liquidity and working capital to support business operations.
Approve balance sheet reconciliations and ensure their accuracy.
Lead and manage a team of two part-qualified Management Accountants, fostering their development.
Participate in ad-hoc projects as required by the GFC and CFO.
Requirements: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial management.
Strong commercial and business acumen.
Proven negotiation skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders.
High proficiency in numeracy and solid technical financial skills.
In-depth knowledge of accounting regulations and financial standards.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Exceptional communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and external stakeholders.
Strong leadership and management capabilities.
