Derbyshire Opportunity Our client is a long-standing and highly reputable privately owned business in rural Derbyshire.
They seek an experienced Finance Director and Company Secretary to work very closely with the Managing Director in the leadership of the £50m t/o industrial processing business.
Key responsibilities include: Financial leadership of the Group and statutory duties of Company Secretary Lead a cultural change on the use of data for better commercial decision making Address the needs and offer financial advice to the owning family on a wide range of financial matters - including related investments Ideally the new FD will bring experience successfully operating as a statutory Finance Director and Company Secretary.
To fit with the corporate culture the new FD is expected to have a background of senior leadership within privately owned companies - ideally under single family ownership.
Experience of an industrial manufacturing or similar sector is a natural alignment and benefit but not essential.
Ideally CIMA or ACCA qualified.
Remuneration Depending upon experience, an annual salary up to c £100k + benefits Location Derbyshire - north of Derby.
Due to the integral role the FD plays in the management of the company the FD will be present in the office 5 days per week.
