Job Title: Finance Administrator Location: East Renfrewshire (on-site 5 days) Salary: up to £26,000 Contract: Full-time, Permanent About the company: Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance Division are representing a dynamic and successful energy company, dedicated to providing energy-efficient solutions across East Renfrewshire, who are looking to add two finance administrators to their successful team in the the smooth running of accounts payable and various finance-related duties.
Role Overview: The Finance Administrators will play a key role in supporting the finance department, focusing on administration tasks and assisting with daily finance operations.
This role involves processing invoices, managing payments, and assisting with financial reports.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to support the team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments to suppliers and contractors.
Key duties surround: Ensure accuracy of all finance-related information and records.
Ensure timely processing of customer and supplier payments.
Review and monitor expense claim submissions to ensure they are correct.
Ensure purchase orders are raised as necessary, and invoicing records are maintained accurately.
Liaise with department managers on finance-related queries.
Identify and address discrepancies in financial data or information within the business.
Generate and distribute weekly reports and updates.
Keep both the Management Systems and CRM system up to date at all times.
Maintain effective communication with suppliers and sub-contractors.
Manage company shared accounts mailboxes.
Maintain and update invoice records on Sage Business Cloud.
Organise and file both physical and digital paperwork.
Scan and archive business-related documents.
Coordinate training for operatives and other employees.
Key Requirements: Previous experience in a finance administration or administration role with a finance focus Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Experience with financial software (Sage Business Cloud preferred) and MS Excel.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, with a problem-solving attitude and a willingness to learn.
