Job Description Our client is a specialist service and maintenance provider for ground source heat pumps and chillers, dedicated to delivering efficient, sustainable, and reliable solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled FGAS Qualified Engineer to join our team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of service, maintenance, and customer satisfaction.
Installation, Service, and Maintenance: Conduct planned and reactive maintenance of ground source heat pumps and chillers.
Diagnose, repair, and replace components in HVAC systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
Perform system commissioning and decommissioning as required.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all work complies with F-Gas regulations, health and safety guidelines, and company standards.
Accurately complete service reports, documentation, and logbooks.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical advice and solutions to clients and support teams.
Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
Customer Interaction: Liaise with clients to schedule work, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with services provided.
Build strong relationships with customers to represent the company professionally.
Requirements Qualifications and Experience: Essential: FGAS Category I qualification (mandatory).
Proven experience in servicing and maintaining heat pumps, chillers, or similar HVAC systems.
Sound knowledge of refrigerants, system controls, and energy efficiency principles.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
Experience with renewable technologies, especially ground source heat pumps.
Familiarity with BMS systems and advanced diagnostics.
