Experienced Social Worker, £39ph, Assessment & CP Team, Swindon Pertemps are recruiting for qualified and experienced Social Workers to join the Assessment and Child Protection team.
About the Team : This supportive and welcoming team is organised into 5 PODs, each comprising 4 Social Workers and led by an Assistant Team Manager.
Every POD rotates duty every 5 weeks, ensuring a collaborative approach and manageable workload distribution Key Responsibilities : Participate in duty weeks on a rotating 5-week schedule, receiving and managing cases of children needing statutory assessments or child protection investigations.
Complete assessments to inform individualised plans that best support the child's needs.
Collaborate with Family Intervention and Support Services to determine the most appropriate level of ongoing support for each child, including Child in Need or Child Protection Plans.
Prioritise smooth transitions for children moving between levels of support and services.
