Our client, a leading TMT organisation, is seeking a highly experienced Lead Counsel to join their newly established division responsible for managing interests in non-wholly owned assets.
This pivotal role involves providing expert legal advice and strategic business partnering to senior leadership, supporting corporate matters such as strategic investments/divestments, corporate governance, risk management, and dispute resolution.
The Lead Counsel will regularly interact with senior team members and external equity partners and collaborate with various group functions.
Key responsibilities include advising on investments, structuring strategic programmes, and developing strong business relationships.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills, a proven ability to influence business strategy, and extensive experience in corporate law, particularly M&A and post-deal implementation.
Candidates must be legally qualified with significant in-house or law firm experience and possess strong negotiating skills and crucially have experience on managing investments.
