We are looking for a Technical Squad Lead with a focus on frontend software principles and skills to be responsible for creating high quality scalable solutions at the component and code level and leading a squad of software engineers with different levels of seniority to develop, test and launch those solutions into production.

You will be accountable for: Leading a team of experienced Software Engineers Setting goals for team members and managing the squad to achieve them Supporting the interview process for Developers Providing technical input against initiatives on the roadmap Input into planning and estimating work Writing good quality code: aligned to standard frameworks, maintaining repo, versioning, documented and well tested Driving improvements to the SDLC through DevEx and in-squad improvements Engaging with the Test team to ensure coverage and drive automation Building and maintaining repo and systems Identifying and implementing cost optimisation ideas Driving adoption and migrating to the standard CI-CD pipeline Defining and Champion of high technical standards Maintaining up to date documentation within the domain area Supporting the architecture function in designing products, incl.
evaluation of options and trade-offs for fulfilling requirements To be successful in this role you will require the following… BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 8+ years' experience front-end software engineering Experience with JavaScript/Vue is a must Experience working with an agile framework (Scrum/Kanban) Experience using DevOps principles and automation practices Experience with Swift and/or Kotlin is a must Experience working with cross platform frameworks HTML CSS/SASS Typescript/JavaScript/VueJS REST API (JSON) & WebSockets Client-Side and Server-Side rendering Agile, Scrum, BDD, TDD, Pull Request, CI/CD Good working knowledge of unit testing & integration testing frameworks Excellent communication skills (oral/written) Collaborative and keen to share knowledge with others Agile certifications would be advantageous Why Work Here?
