Events Project Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Events Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of various events.
The ideal candidate will possess technical and organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
This role involves coordinating with clients, vendors, and staff to ensure that all aspects of events run smoothly and successfully.
Duties Plan, organise, and execute events from conception to completion, ensuring all details are managed effectively.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
Manage budgets Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual requirements, and transportation.
Supervise event staff and volunteers, providing clear direction and support throughout the event.
Implement effective time management strategies to ensure deadlines are met.
Upsell additional services or products to enhance the overall event experience for clients.
Maintain a strong focus on guest services, ensuring all attendees have a positive experience.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Experience Previous experience in technical solutions in event management or a related field such as hospitality or fundraising is required.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
Familiarity with restaurant or hotel operations is an advantage.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Experience in upselling services or products is desirable but not essential.
