Madisons Recruitment are recruiting for a Estimator/ Surveyor on a permanent basis located in Colchester, Essex.
We are looking for a well rounded Estimator/ Surveyor to join our clients team.
You will plat a massive part in assessing and managing projects related to insurance claims and building works.
This positions requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast paced, reactive environment, particularly with experience in insurance repairs and the education sector. Responsibilities Conduct site visits to assess damage and gather necessary data for insurance claim projects.
Collaborate with clients, insurance companies, and contractors to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation for insurance claims and project management.
Provide expert guidance and solutions to clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Work closely with the second surveyor and project teams to ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Pricing Tenders value between £50k-£500k Small works pricing £<50K Requirements Proven experience in a reactive work environment or in insurance repairs is highly desirable.
Experience of using Xactware and/or Symbility desirable but not essential Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
