Your mission Key Responsibilities : ESG Strategy Development : Support the development and implementation of ESG strategies that align with company objectives, focusing on compliance with EU and UK regulations and industry best practices.
Regulatory Compliance : Track and analyse regulatory changes related to ESG, ensuring alignment with current and emerging requirements.
Supply Chain Due Diligence : Conduct due diligence to meet regulatory requirements and ensure transparency across the supply chain, identifying and mitigating ESG risks related to business partners.
ESG Reporting : Prepare and manage internal and external ESG reports, including data collection and analysis to support accurate, compliant disclosures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with various departments to integrate ESG practices across business functions, ensuring company-wide alignment with sustainability goals.
Stakeholder Engagement : Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including shareholders and regulatory bodies, to communicate ESG goals, progress, and compliance status effectively.
Sustainability Initiatives : Lead and support initiatives that promote environmental, social, and governance goals, such as reducing carbon footprint, improving diversity and inclusion, and ensuring ethical governance practices.
Training and Awareness : Develop and deliver training programs on ESG practices to enhance internal understanding and adherence to sustainability objectives.
Continuous Improvement : Regularly review and update ESG policies, procedures, and documentation to reflect regulatory changes and evolving industry standards.
Your profile Qualifications & Skills : Educational Background : Master's degree in Law, Environmental Science, Public Policy, Sustainability, Business Administration, or other relevant disciplines.
Experience : 2-4 years of experience in ESG or sustainability management, with a strong understanding of EU and UK regulatory frameworks.
Analytical and Research Skills : Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex ESG regulations and translate them into actionable strategies.
Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and report on ESG initiatives.
Project Management : Ability to manage multiple ESG initiatives, meet deadlines, and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Language Proficiency : High proficiency in English as the primary working language; additional languages such as Chinese, German or French are beneficial.
