Job summary We have embarked on a programme to implement a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) as part of the NHS digital health ongoing initiative across the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative (NWAHC).
The collaborative is made up of three acute hospitals in Norfolk and Waveney; James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (JPUH) Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH) The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (QEH) This is a unique opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to create a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of individuals throughout Norfolk and Waveney.

Main duties of the job The role of the Project Manager is to provide the governance, structure, process, and critical challenge for the workstream deliverables and to report on progress including key issues and risks to enable key decisions and actions to be taken in a timely manner.
The post holder will have significant experience in programme and project management and have specialist knowledge in transformation and adoption of large[1]scale digital systems (preferable EPRs), with proven experience of working in healthcare environments.
The post holder will need to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with other staff members characterised by trust, mutual respect, and open, honest communication.

Support the EPR programme in leading the allocated workstream and associated sub-projects and managing the complex environments and relationships within the Trusts, which will benefit from a centrally coordinated approach due to their complexity and scope.

Responsibility for review and challenge of all project development and documentation, including feedback to central and local colleagues on areas of weakness or whether further information is required.

Responsibility for monitoring programme compliance delivery, for the sub[1]projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget and that planned cost savings are made Person Specification Qualifications Essential Accredited project management qualification ( APM, Prince2, Managing Successful Programmes or equivalent) and significant senior experience in project/programme management delivery with evidence of leading and managing improvement projects in the NHS.
Desirable Masters level qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience Essential Project and Programme management with evidence of leading and delivering major improvements.
Management at a senior level where change management skills have been required within the post.
Skills Essential Negotiating skills to encourage collaborative working across different agencies to improve services.
Organisational and project management skills, with the ability to influence and build positive and productive relationships at all levels.
