Environment Specialist

Brief Description Provide environmental expertise for the region.
Provide support and guidance to enable the environment management system to be effectively integrated into regional functions and teams to deliver legislative compliance and continual improvement.About the role (External)Your Main Responsibilities will be to:1.Provide expert support and guidance on all environmental matters to delivery legislative compliance.2.Update and maintain environmental records and documentation to support the environment management system and emergency plans3.Provide the focus for liaison arrangements with environmental stakeholders.
4.Produce and undertake a programme of surveillance and inspection checks.5.Monitor closeout of environmental non conformances.You will ideally have·Good understanding of UK and European environmental legislation and regulation·Good understanding of environmental management system·Knowledge of maintenance delivery process and techniques·Good interpersonal, influencing, communication and organisation skillsWhat could set you apart·Knowledge of operational railway environment·Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard·Membership of professional bodyNot sure if you meet all the requirements?
