In this role, you will lead a diverse team and collaborate closely with the Executive Director of Engineering regarding facilities engineering and capital project activities across multiple sites.
Oversee all GMP engineering activities.
Lead and manage maintenance and project engineering teams, as well as onsite contractor staff.
Ensure full operational readiness of facilities and equipment supporting production, lab activities, and warehousing across all sites.
Ensure compliance with cGMP and other relevant regulations for maintenance and calibration activities.
Optimize GMP engineering group systems, plan operational budgets, and support wider engineering initiatives.
Represent the engineering department during regulatory and statutory inspections.
Manage vendor relationships for equipment maintenance and servicing, in collaboration with procurement teams.
Provide oversight for all engineering activities and performance data reporting to senior management.
Ensure site processes, procedures, and risk assessments are in compliance with Environmental Health and Safety standards.
Requirements Experience : 10 years of experience managing engineering operations in a highly regulated manufacturing industry.
Proficiency with instrumentation, utilities, process engineering, maintenance, automation, computerized systems, and validation in a GMP environment Experience in a start-up environment, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate teams despite limited resources and ambiguity.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends.
Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders in a matrix environment.
