NEW OPPORTUNITY ? Role: Employment Solicitor Location: Islington, North London Proper Recruitment are ecstatic to be working with a leading London law firm who are looking for an Employment Solicitor with 2+ years PQE to join their growing team.
Responsibilities Advising on the full scope of non-contentious and contentious employment law from advising on employment contracts and policies.
Performance and absence management.
Disciplinary and grievance procedures through to managing restructuringDealing directly with clients to take instructions and deliver on client expectations.
Redundancies and settlement agreements.
Advising on TUPE and other corporate issues as they arise.
Contributing to business development and identify networking and marketing opportunities internally and externally.
Requirements You will also be required to deal with and be familiar with Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation.
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organisational, and administrative skills.
Adept client care skills and ability to manage own caseload.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Must be experienced at multi-tasking, managing time sensitive documents, and taking responsibility for delegated tasks.
Must thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications and Experience The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years PQE as an Employment Solicitor.
Familiarity with acting on behalf of both claimant and respondent work is imperative.
Must have obtained a 2:1 or First degree or CILEX.
