Job summary We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Planning & Business Continuity Officer (EPBCO) to join our Corporate Operations team.The EPBCO will lead the Trust's Emergency Planning, Resilience, and Response (EPRR) function, ensuring that our Trust is fully compliant with NHS England Core Standards for Emergency Preparedness and that all sites and services meet high standards of safety and preparedness.The ideal candidate will offer expert advice to senior leaders, ensuring comprehensive readiness for incidents and emergencies, as well as maintaining robust business continuity and response plans.By joining our team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the continuity of essential healthcare services and enhancing the resilience of our Trust.

Person Specification Knowledge Requirements Essential A good understanding of emergency planning and preparedness Familiar with a variety of information and communications tools to effectively relay key information Working knowledge of: NHS England Emergency Preparedness Framework 2015, NHS England's Core Standards for EPRR, Business Continuity Management, ISO 22301 Desirable A good understanding of NHS structures and processes Working knowledge of other NHS national emergency preparedness guidance Qualifications/Academic/Craft/Professional Essential Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or ability to demonstrate extensive expertise in this area of specialism.
