Are you passionate about driving innovation in the automotive sector?
We're looking for a motivated Embedded Design Engineer to join our world-class team, responsible for the entire product life cycle of electronic hardware design and embedded software development.
What You'll Do: Lead the embedded design function, becoming the design authority for PCB and firmware solutions.
Collaborate with the Engineering, Applications, and Software teams to ensure project delivery aligns with customer expectations.
Develop and maintain embedded design specifications, concepts, and standards.
Oversee technical decisions during the qualification of new products and solutions.
Manage the Embedded Lab and its equipment, ensuring robust testing and validation processes.
Key Skills & Experience Required: Degree in Electronics Engineering or HNC/HND with 5+ years of experience in an electronics engineering environment.
Strong proficiency in Altium and other PCB design systems.
Expertise in power electronics, embedded processors (ARM Cortex M4 preferred), serial communications, and EMC.
Firmware development skills (C, Keil IDE) and familiarity with data processing tools (e.g., Python, SQL).
Hands-on experience with PCB testing, revision control (e.g., Subversion svn), and soldering (PTH & SMD).
