Electrical Tutor Vacancy Location: Preston Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Position: Full-time An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and passionate Electrical Tutor to join a leading training provider in England and Wales.
This role is pivotal in delivering top-quality teaching and learning in electrical theory and practical applications, ensuring apprentices achieve excellence at Level 3 and beyond.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching for City & Guilds and EAL qualifications.
Prepare and develop course materials, supporting learners' progression.
Teach theoretical and practical subjects at Level 2, Level 3, and occasionally at HNC level.
Assess and approve apprentices' coursework, maintaining awarding body standards.
Track attendance and progress, providing regular feedback and support to apprentices.
Supervise practical training sessions, ensuring safety and maintaining discipline.
Collaborate with colleagues and external bodies to meet inspection standards and enhance learning outcomes.
Support apprentices' welfare and development, promoting a positive and safe learning environment.
Engage with employers and apprentices to address training needs and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Person Specification: Essential Criteria: Electrical Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
GCSE/Level 2 Maths and English (grades A-C or 9-4).
Relevant teaching experience in Electrical Installations, including remote and blended learning.
Evidence of up-to-date knowledge in the electrical industry.
Teaching qualification at Level 5 (or willingness to work towards).
Strong IT and presentation skills.
Post-qualification experience in the electrical services sector.
Desirable Skills: Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely).
Assessor or Internal Verifier qualifications (D32, D33, A1, TAQA, V1).
Familiarity with the Contracting or Building Services Industry.
