Electrical Test Engineer Newcastle Salary Dependant on Experience Our client are a global name in engineering who cover industries such as mobility, energy, power conversion, manufacturing and controls.
They are seeking an electrical test engineer to join their growing team in Newcastle, the ideal candidate will have worked within the energy sector dealing with automated substation equipment.
Key Responsibilities – Electrical Test Engineer Using various techniques to test High Voltage substation automation equipment Interrogating faults on SCADA systems Creating a full system setup of Energy Automation equipment mimicking substation control systems Testing various digital and analog inputs in accordance with test documentation Working under the guidance of the Team Lead and Senior Engineers Develop knowledge of High Voltage Substation Control Systems and components Support Engineering team in laboratory environment with building, wiring and pre-commissioning the test kits used for projects.
Supporting factory acceptance testing activities Wiring to WD's in accordance with specifications Supporting with product and system testing against industry standards Assisting with technical Queries Managing lab equipment Qualifications & Experience – Electrical Test Engineer Level 3 Qualification - Electrical Experience testing electrical systems Good verbal and written communication skills are essential Relevant electrical engineering experience Panel Wiring Experience Benefits – Electrical Test Engineer Performance-Based Bonus: Enjoy an annual bonus linked to the company's performance Flexible Working Hours: Achieve a healthy work-life balance with our flexible working arrangements, enabling you to tailor your schedule to your needs.
