Bouygues UK have an exciting opportunity for experienced Electrical Project Engineers to work on the renowned Orie l project.
Oriel is a joint initiative to transform a two-acre site at St Pancras Hospital to deliver a pioneering eye care, research, and education centre.
The project will be a new, state-of-the-art building with an anticipated gross internal area of up to 46,000m2.
Designed with flexibility in mind, it will be able to meet future service requirements and keep pace with changes in technological, medical or research requirements.
Its design has been the subject of an extensive programme of engagement with patients, staff and partner organisations to ensure a national standard for accessibility is created.
Essential Experience in consulting engineering and/or contracting.
Understanding the importance of coordination and quality assurance throughout each phase of installation and taking ownership of these key factors.
Communication and presentation skills Safety Consciousness: A strong commitment to safety is crucial for an Electrical Site Engineer.
This includes a comprehensive understanding of electrical safety protocols and regulations, along with the ability to enforce them and implement proper safety measures on construction sites.
Organizational and Time Management Skills: Managing multiple tasks, prioritizing work, and meeting deadlines are essential for an Electrical Site Engineer.
Strong organizational and time management skills enable effective project planning, coordination, and delivery.
SMST Continuing Professional Learning CPD/Training Job Purpose and Scope: To work alongside the other members of the building services department on various projects to understand the requirements of the role on site.
Collaborating with project managers and team members to develop detailed electrical project plans and timelines.
This could involve conducting site surveys, evaluating electrical programme activities, and determining equipment and materials required.
Supervision and monitoring progress of the M&E subcontractors ensuring quality, health and safety and programme requirements are met.
To ensure that the Client receives the most appropriate engineering solutions.
Assisting in the design and layout of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and communication systems.
This may involve using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create electrical drawings and schematics.
