Sizewell C is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk.
When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years.
We're recruiting for students to join our Electrical Engineering Industrial Placement programme at our Moorgate office (London).
Taking on a real job at a junior level, youll have the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience under the guidance of highly skilled and experienced colleagues.
What we're looking for Discipline in Electrical Engineering.A genuine interest in the energy industry and a passion for sustainability and being a part of making a difference.
We will need you to be open minded, flexible and have an agile way of thinking to succeed in a dynamic fast paced project environment.Having a strategic mindset that brings innovative ideas.
Effective interpersonal skills are key, as well as being able to demonstrate high ethical behaviour, integrity, humility, and character.
Effective communication skills will be required to manage your stakeholders whilst prioritising competing demands.
Training, development, and support for you Over the course of this 12-month programme, youll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in hands-on learning, working on real-world challenges that directly impact the energy industry.
Most of your learning will be on the job, supported by your mentor and the teams around you.
You'll have a chance to apply your academic training to genuine industry problems while completing modules that contribute towards your degree.
Previous students on a Electrical Engineering Industrial Placement have been involved in projects such as: Supporting improvements to safety through communications campaigns, training, and other improvement projects.Assist project managers in delivering electrical equipment contracts.Work collaboratively within a team, demonstrating EDF Values contribute towards achieving team to achieve objectives.Improve understanding of the technical issues that come along delivering electrical equipment.Working on resolution of technical and commercial issues while supporting delivering a contract.Presentation to peers at end of placement to present development achieved throughout placement Power in Diversity Sizewell C is a great place to work.

Sizewell C Limited (Sizewell C) is nuclear site licensed company whose business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk.
Sizewell C was formerly under the majority ownership of the EDF Group but is currently majority owned by HM Government and operates as an independent company.
