Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer - Birmingham - Salary up to £36,000 DOE CBW have an opportunity for an experienced Day Electrical Engineer to work on a static site based in Birmingham.
The role covers electrical disciplines and to provide a reactive and pro-active maintenance service as per project requirements to all operational equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for carrying out modifications and installations when required, maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant to optimize both reliability and maintainability.
Responsibile for all PPM & Reactive Maintenance throughout the site.
Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met and liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required.
Responsible for ensuring own work and work of those under supervision is completed in a safe and diligent manner.
Complete any required paperwork, produce reports accurately and on a timely basis.
Person Specification: Appropriate up to date training such as NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline) and have good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
Able to read and understand technical drawings.
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills and be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
Qualified to 18th Edition.
Salary & Benefits: Salary up to £36,000 DOE 40hrs a week – 07.00 – 15.00hrs (paid lunch as needs to be on site).
Participate with the on-call rota.
Currently 1 in 5 - On – call from 6pm Friday through to 6am Monday.
Paid £100 + min 4 hrs first attendance, Full company uniform.
