You will be working in a manufacturing environment, with Standard Operating Procedures in place.
You will be joining a team that thrives on teamwork.
In the Assembly Operative Job you will work the day shift.
Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00.
What You Will Do: As an Assembly Operative at Stannah dedicated homelift business, you will: Manufacture subassemblies and test products in line with daily targets.
Each operative is responsible for the manufacture of a sub-assembly which is then passed to the next in-line operative.
This job will focus on the electrical assembly work, including wiring circuits, preparation of looms and test sub-assemblies.
Job Responsibilities: Interpret electrical and electronic schematics, diagrams, and blueprints Using pneumatic, electric-powered tools, and a small number of hand tools.
Completion of wiring circuits and assemble control panels Use of hoists to manoeuvre heavy loads (25kgs) onto pallets.
Manually load lighter finished parts onto pallets Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or issues in the assembly process.
Job Requirements: Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety practices General use of Computer/Tablet Proven experience as an electrical technician or a related field This Assembly Operative Job would be ideal for someone who has previously worked in an Assembly Operative Job, Production Operative Job, Factory Job, Electrical Technician Job, Electrical Job or Production Job.
