We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual who uses their initiative, has great judgement, and can prioritise well for an ambitious and dynamic Managing Director, two Directors and an Associate within a fast-paced Investment Team.A strong emotional intelligence and collaborative work ethic is vital for their forward-thinking environment which benefits from a large and welcoming support team.Outline of dutiesExtensive and intricate diary management that moves at pace with last minute alterationsArranging end-to-end travel - domestic and internationalSupporting all administrative needs and correspondenceRelationship building with portfolio companiesManage team expensesMaintain contacts databasePreparing documents for board meetings, VC's and callsParticipation in weekly team meetingsSome aspects of personal adminIndividual's abilitiesWork autonomously, managing ever changing, complex diaries, planning strategically and prioritising where necessary.Natural gravitas and meticulous attention to detail, be able to work to tight deadlines - often under pressure.Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence, to work with the MD in particular as their right-hand person throughout the dayA real team player working closely with other AssistantsExcellent knowledge of MS office softwarePro-active, self-starter with a flexible approach.Friendly and warm, quietly efficient and a modest yet confident nature.Graduate level or equivalent and ideally have supported at senior level, in Private Equity, Asset Management or similar background.TermsContracted hours are between 9am and 5:30pm Monday - Friday.Place of work is Marylebone - 5 days a week, although WFH is supported on an ad-hoc basisBenefits25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.
