Weekday post, Monday to Friday hrs to hrs We are looking for two Domestic staff to join the existing team to provide a high-quality cleaning service at Milton Keynes University hospital new Radiotherapy Centre.
The Centre will bring the hospital's cancer and radiotherapy services under one roof in a modern dedicated space.
You will keep the new Cancer Centre clean with general duties vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning the patient bed areas, sanitary fittings and emptying waste bins.
The post holder is required to carry out duties as instructed to the required standard, to ensure the hospital is a clean, safe and welcoming environment at all times.Interview date: 13 December 2024 Main duties of the job Floor Cleaning Duties Suction clean & dust control sweeping Damp and wet mopping Spray cleaning & buffing Mechanical floor cleaning/scrubbing Stripping & re-polishing Carpet shampoo & stain removal Wet suction of floors Move wheeled and lightweight furniture where required High and low dusting Floor cleaning duties (as above) Deep Cleaning/Periodic Cleaning In accordance with hospital policy & work instruction Exit & Terminal Cleans In accordance with hospital policy & work instruction Other Duties Curtain changes Cleaning of cleaning equipment and signage Laundry duties Fault reporting in machinery and equipment Accident reporting Stock taking and ensure stock levels are sufficient to carry out work Window/glass cleaning (internal) Art & sculptures cleaning Bin stores Pre-occupancy cleans Emergency/escalation cleaning Water flushing and records Ad hoc cleans as requested About us You can expect a warm welcome at Milton Keynes University Hospital, our staff are friendly and welcoming.
