Job Description We are recruiting an Operations Manager in distribution for a client based in Fife.
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Distribution Operations Manager with an exposure to  Sales .
This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day distribution operations while driving sales performance across key accounts.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for logistics and supply chain management, along with a proven track record in sales growth and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily distribution centre operations, including warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
Develop and implement efficient logistics processes to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
Collaborate with sales teams to drive business development, grow key accounts, and achieve sales targets.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to both distribution and sales, adjusting strategies as needed.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure product availability and maintain strong relationships.
Lead, motivate, and develop distribution and sales teams to achieve operational excellence.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and industry regulations.
Manage budgets and cost control measures to optimize profitability.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and sales growth initiatives.
Requirements Qualifications 5+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or operations management, with a focus on sales.
Proven success in sales management, including experience in negotiating contracts and managing customer relationships.
Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
