Job Description: About archOS: archOS is a multi-year transformational program designed to standardize, optimize, and modernize our tech stacks and business processes.
It supports our Consumer & Restaurant Platforms and serves as an enterprise enabler, laying the foundation for our broader digital ambitions and growth goals.
This foundation will enable us to deliver capabilities rapidly in a stable environment and support new initiatives as part of our Digital Engagement Strategy.
Role Overview: This role is part of the Global Technology function and the Commercial Products & Platforms team, reporting to the Senior Director of archOS.
Director - archOS Product Activation, will lead the team responsible for discovering and defining the deployment steps needed to implement the multi-tenant Global Mobile App (GMA) and Martech stack into McDonald's Global Cloud environment.
Primary Responsibilities: Lead and coach the team responsible for archOS deployment activities.
Collaborate with third-party vendors, business partners, project managers, and all stakeholders.
Ensure all aspects of the archOS deployment, from scope to design, are delivered successfully and meet both business and technical requirements.
Core Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Manage, coach, and support the activation team.
Develop, motivate and performance manage teams.
Continually validate team resourcing, skills, capacity, and capabilities.
Team capacity planning.
Lead the discovery and definition of the activation activities and deliverables (e.g.
Playbooks, checklists, documentation).
Ensure best practices, knowledge and standards are followed.
Identify opportunities to leverage solutions and drive standardization.
Recognize and communicate areas of opportunity for improvement.
Advise, review and sign-off requirements with the archOS stakeholders.
Lead the overall market activation efforts for archOS, ensuring timely delivery of all rollout workstream activities and serve as the Single Point of Contact, acting as the primary liaison among segments, markets, other departments, and the deployment team.
Work with various teams (Product, Global Technology, Marketing, Change, etc.)
and stakeholders to identify resources, partners, and timelines.
Collaborate with all stakeholders to settle activation requirements; develop the strategy, coordinate the development, and work to resolve bottlenecks to delivery aligned with program timelines.
Lead the coordination of market activation activities.
Direct the hyper care business support post-activation in markets, ensuring rapid resolution of issues and stabilization of market operations, minimizing business impact and taking care of comprehensive documentation of the activation processes to support future deployments and ensure knowledge transfer.
Drive continuous improvement in deployment strategies and processes, leveraging insights and lessons learned from each market rollout.
Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Product Management, Business, or a related field.
Professional Experience: Proven track record in progressively responsible technology roles.
Skilled in managing relationships with senior product management leadership.
Proficient in working within an Agile environment and utilizing product-centric methodologies.
Involvement in enterprise-wide technology projects is preferred.
Skills and Abilities: Skilled in gathering and interpreting business and technology requirements.
Direct problem-solving skills with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
Proven experience in coaching and mentoring team members.
Demonstrated ability to achieve business objectives through effective people management and leadership.
Proficient in documenting and communicating build progress and taking corrective actions as necessary.
Expertise in data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
