Director Of Supply Chain & Logistics

Following a strategic review, a rare yet exciting opportunity now presents for a high calibre Supply Chain & Logistics Director to operate within a high growth, multi-site industrial manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have strategic responsibility for the Supply Chain and Logistics operations across the UK, which includes Customer Service, Planning, Warehousing, Transport and Supply Chain development.
Collaborate closely with the Technical Director and operational teams to identify and drive opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies across the supply chain process.
Areas of key focus will be on improved productivity, efficiency, system automation and sustainability.
Able to develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with the company's vision, goals, and growth plans.
Person Criteria: Must bring proven experience leading on Supply Chain & Logistics activities, combined with strong customer care/service background – ideally from within a Construction and/or Manufacturing background.
Experience of integrating systems (Pricing, Systems and Order EDI) with the intent to improve productivity and efficiency across the business.
Strong communicator who is readily able to lead and influence stakeholders in the UK and across wider Group functions.
Proven leadership skills, able to optimise team performance and must be able to work across a global matrix structure.
