A successful beauty brand that is scaling up is looking for an experienced Director of Sales to be based in London.
This is a hybrid working role with three days a week at their headquarters (Mon, Tue, Fri) and two days remote.
As Director of Sales, and you will work closely with the Operations, Brand, NPD and Growth teams.
The successful candidate will be able to build the internal relationships needed to get support from these cross-functional teams to help you deliver against your goals.
Your key responsibilities: Build on and implement the long-term commercial strategy for the brand across traditional bricks-and-mortar and online retailers.
Work closely with the NPD team and retailers to build a pipeline of products that will drive the growth of the retail channel.
Create and deliver launch strategies for NPD.
Work with the marketing team to deliver best in class brand and messaging in store.
Build out sales forecasts, analyse sales data, track your team's performance, and manage the retail profit and loss.
Recruit and develop the retail team.
Understand the retail landscape and competitor activities to ensure that the brand is ahead of its competitors.
As a hands-on retail operator with a proven track record of scaling successful consumer brands, ideally in beauty, you excel in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Your ability to hire and develop a highly effective team, coupled with your creative problem-solving skills, allows you to deliver rapid growth for a skincare business across the UK and internationally.
Your strong analytical skills, demonstrated through your proficiency in building Excel models and deriving actionable insights from data, combined with your highly commercial mindset and negotiation abilities, make you a valuable asset in driving value creation and business impact.
