Service Care Solutions is working alongside a dynamic local authority, based in London , which needs a revolutionary Director of Law and Governance to lead their team.
This role will put you at the helm of the council's legal team.
This role can be done on a hybrid basis and pay is negotiable.
This is a three-month contract.
The rate advertised is an umbrella rate.
Key responsibilities of the Director of Law and Governance role: Provide effective, inclusive leadership that drives the continuous improvement of the council's plan.
Act as Deputy Monitoring Officer in accordance with S.5 of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989.
Partner with the Chief Solicitor at a neighbouring council to ensure cohesive leadership across the Bi-Borough Legal service.
