Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: As the Director of Complex Care, you will lead the development and delivery of the complex care strategy.
You will ensure that systems and processes meet all relevant quality, legal, regulatory, organisational, contractual, and customer standards.
Your responsibilities will include: Shaping the Future: Develop and implement strategies that drive positive outcomes for the people we support.
Lead with Impact: Oversee new complex care services through transition, optimising the allocation and use of budgets and resources.
Inspire Excellence: Lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams to meet strategic objectives.
Drive Innovation: Utilise modern technology to enhance service delivery and champion continuous improvement.
Ensure Quality and Compliance: Implement and monitor controls, measures, and reporting to meet all legal, regulatory, and organisational standards.
Manage Financials: Oversee complex care budgets, drive efficiency, and ensure sustainable, high-quality services.
Collaborate Effectively: Work with the Executive Team, Senior Leadership Team, and regional Operational Leaders to deliver the right support at the right time.

Essential Criteria To be successful in this role, you will need: Educational Background : Educated to a Post Graduate level or equivalent qualification in a relevant health or care discipline.
Professional Development : Evidence of continuing professional development.
Sector Insight : Understanding of current healthcare policy, transforming care agenda, and restrictive practice.
Regulatory Knowledge : Appreciation of the relationship between the Department of Health & Social Care, local authorities, and commissioning organisations.
Specialised Knowledge : Working knowledge of Hospital Discharge and Continuing Healthcare (CHC).
Leadership Experience : Experienced professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a sound understanding of the transforming care agenda.
Strategic Leadership : Ability to develop, translate, and implement strategy into plans.
Financial Acumen : Strategic responsibility for budgets and decision-making on resource allocation.
Quality Assurance : Experience in a clinical environment where CQC standards have been in force.
Stakeholder Engagement : Skilled at influencing and negotiating at an executive level, with the ability to build sound working relationships with excellent written, oral, presentation, and communication skills.
Analytical Abilities : Proficient in assessing and analysing data and financial information.
Problem-Solving : Ability to respond to sudden and unexpected demands with effective solutions.
Personal Attributes : Highly self-motivated, innovative thinker, collaborative, and able to cope with rapid and sustained change.
