ABOUT THE ROLE: Talon.One is a leading provider of promotion and loyalty automation solutions. We're seeking a Director of Business Development to lead our global sales development initiatives and drive our recently launched Allbound business development motion.
This role reports to our VP Marketing and offers flexibility, with options to be based in Berlin (hybrid) or work remotely from London.
ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:Build, lead, and scale a high-performing global Sales Development Representative (SDR) teamServe as the critical bridge between Sales and Marketing teams to ensure successful pipeline conversionDrive predictable pipeline generation and close rates from both marketing and SDR-generated opportunitiesImplement and maintain rigorous sales hygiene standards and processesDrive the execution of our Allbound business development strategy in partnership with VP MarketingOversee early-stage selling and positioning of Talon.One solutionsDesign and execute innovative multi-channel outreach strategies including:Digital campaignsEmail sequencesCold calling programsEvent-based initiativesCustom marketing tacticsManage targeted outreach to accounts matching our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)Coordinate with Marketing to leverage insights and use cases for tiered account targetingOptimize inbound lead management processes and ensure excellent first impressions for prospective customersDevelop and track key performance metrics for the SDR teamServe as the public face and leader of the SDR organization, setting performance standards and cultureWHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:7+ years of B2B sales development experience, with 3+ years in leadership rolesProven track record of building and scaling high-performing SDR teamsExperience with both inbound and outbound business development motionsStrong understanding of sales operations and CRM managementExcellence in early-stage selling and solution positioningTrack record of successful collaboration with Marketing teamsExperience in technology/SaaS sales developmentDemonstrated success in multi-channel outreach campaign designWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:Learning budget and LinkedIn Learning30 vacation daysRemote-work abroad up to 90 daysIn-house German language coursesDiscounted Urban Sports Club membership and BVG ticketWork-Dog-Balance, your best friend is more than welcome!Mental health support with Nilo.healthWHY YOU SHOULD WORK FOR US:The right attitude: modern methods and a diverse, creative workspace with an open and international cultureEveryone for the product: Together we create a flexible, highly scalable product with state-of-the-art technologies.
