Director Clinical Operations

Proclinical is seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Operations.
This role involves strategic representation in early planning of global and local evidence generation activities and oversight of their execution.
The position requires expertise in clinical operations and the ability to provide guidance and leadership across various therapeutic areas.
This is a hybrid position in either London or Paris.
Responsibilities: Provide oversight and leadership for Global Medical Clinical Operations on Integrated Evidence Generation Plans.
Offer clinical and operational expertise for the design, implementation, execution, and follow-up of evidence generation activities.
Review protocols and program plans to ensure clinical and data generation excellence.
Act as a key contact and representative for GM clinical activities within the therapeutic area.
Guide Clinical Project Managers and Clinical Trial Administrators to meet project objectives.
Review operational feasibility to ensure appropriate execution, timelines, resourcing, and budget assessments.
Manage workload assessment, resource allocation, development, support, training, and performance assessment of direct reports.
Provide expertise in GCP or RWE data generation regulations and specific therapeutic areas.
Participate in the selection and management of study Service Providers.
Drive process changes for continuous improvement and adaptation to business model changes.
Perform additional activities as required by the Head of GMA Clinical Operations, including hands-on management of studies.
Key Skills and Requirements: Significant experience in pharmaceutical drug development or RWE/HEOR, including project management of national and international programs.
Experience in Oncology, Rare Diseases, or Neurosciences.
Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and non-GCP data generation regulations.
Experience in line-managing people and working with multidisciplinary groups.
Ability to manage and develop relationships with Service Providers.
Excellent organizational, management, verbal, and written communication skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences or equivalent.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
