About the Role: As Digital Marketing & Website Administrator, you will be responsible for a range of tasks focused on building customer acquisition and retention.
Using our enterprise level SEO tool to execute and report on improvements to our organic search engine marketing, you will help us to generate best in class SEO practices to grow our organic site traffic.
This includes writing search optimised copy for meta fields and product descriptions, using our Content Management System to roll out changes, and monitoring the effect on search engine rankings, traffic and revenue.
You will also assist with our other digital channels, such as affiliates and third-party marketplaces, and support our efforts to optimise our conversion journey with high quality content.
Finally, you will be expected to produce weekly sales and KPI reports to inform our trading and marketing strategy.
Supporting our Digital Marketing Executive, Head of Digital Marketing and agency partners, you will also work closely with the rest of the digital team on campaigns and product updates and promoting new digital initiatives.
While specific experience isn't necessary, you will need a track record of learning new systems and tools fast, strong writing and reporting skills, and an interest in customer growth via digital channels.
Responsibilities: Accountable for optimising our websites for search engines in the US, UK and English-speaking Middle East.
Implementing regular changes to drive improvements in rank, traffic and sales.
Learning and implementing SEO best practice from the team and partners.
Managing optimised meta-data & content for our websites; this will cover meta tags, product categories, product data and assistance pages (but not blog posts or other editorial content).
Creating and running reports in our SEO tool to monitor the impact of changes and monitoring technical site errors that impact SEO and reporting them to developers to fix.
Working to optimise site-speed, for instance optimising images across the site and testing against performance metrics.
Supporting our affiliate marketing channel, ensuring product data is accurate and up to date.
Working with our third-party marketplace partners to manage product uploads and optimise sales and marketing opportunities.
Website updates – support the updating and optimising of four regional websites, overseeing localisation and supporting our trading efforts in all markets.
Weekly reporting of sales and KPIs to support decision making and strategy.
Qualifications: High level of English literacy and numeracy.
Some work experience (can be part time), experience in the luxury sector or interiors a bonus.
Keen interest in content and digital marketing with an ambition to build a career in this space.
A quick learner, with a proven track record of picking up new things fast, especially technology and online systems.
Well organised, pro-active and able to work off own initiative.
Comfortable working in a rapidly evolving area of marketing, and are prepared to take on new responsibilities as we find creative ways of reaching our customers.
