About the Role - As a Senior Digital Campaigner UK, you will report to the Campaign Director, and day-to-day the Digital Mobilisation Director.
Responsibilities - Identify campaign opportunities mainly in the UK and globally.
Campaign development: Test and develop campaigns (in conjunction with the Digital Mobilisation Director and Campaigns Leadership Team) that grow our communities, increase our supporter fundraising, and advance our mission.
Social media advertising and growth: Create and run social media advertising to grow our community of supporters in the UK, and beyond.
Email Communications—Write compelling campaign and fundraising copy that will inspire people to take action on our issues and campaigns, including email communications and fundraising copy, in conjunction with the Online Fundraising Manager and Digital Mobilisation Director.
Work alongside other national campaigners and our campaigner directors on our long-term 'impact' campaigns on energy, food, land and development.
Use a range of digital tools and platforms Translation and tailoring of global or centrally produced content to suit the UK context.
Liaise with WePlanet staff, and network when required.
Help us understand the political dynamics in the UK by keeping connected to local movements, alternative thinking, and researching policy processes within your national context.
Travel nationally and occasionally internationally for team meetings, retreats, stakeholder and partner meetings, and petition deliveries.

Required Skills - You have a strong understanding of the UK's political and social context.
You must be a native english speaker, fluent in English or C2+ You look forward to working in a team where we all strive to learn from each other to have the biggest possible impact.
You have experience in writing for digital audiences whether social media content, email communications, websites or blog posts, either personally or professionally.
You have an eye for an opportunity and can demonstrate how you've captured a moment to engage audiences or advance a campaign.
You have some experience managing a community of supporters via email, social media, and Discord and are comfortable with how to engage and excite them.
You feel comfortable using new technology, tech tools and platforms.
You make data-led decisions and love to understand how to improve your content.
You are keen to run tests backed by statistical significance and are always looking to improve your work.
You can work cross-culturally and comfortably understand differences in working styles and needs.
Extra skills and knowledge - This is a generalist position so we do not expect applicants to have all of these, but if you do have 2 or 3 one of these extras you would be benefited.
