ICB (Projects) Ltd We are a construction contracting service, specialising in ancillary products including Green Roofs and Solar PV and we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Estimator to join our team in Poole.
This is a permanent position offering an annual salary of £25-30,000.00 per annum DOE.
Working hours: 39 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm / Fri 9.00am - 4.00pm   Key Responsibilities:   To produce designs in CAD To generate internal quotations in line with designs completed or from external supplier quotations/estimates.
To produce bills of quants to purchasing To source designs, quotations, and literature from suppliers on a per project basis To create proposals for ICB Projects To help keep CRM database up to date.
Administrative tasks as needed, including following up proposals.
To provide Technical Support to Customers, ICB Projects staff and ICB generally regarding the range of ICB Projects Services & Products To liaise with suppliers, contractors, and customers as necessary To assist with the development of new estimating tools To maintain costing database and monitor supplier increases.
To carry out cost value reconciliations and reporting To carry out site surveys if necessary   Requirements Essential: Experience of estimating is a diverse product environment with a biased towards M&E. Good knowledge of Microsoft packages including ability to produce project plans using MS Projects.
AutoCAD experience and qualification Excellent communication, literacy, numeracy and presentation skills.
High level of accuracy Ability to read/take-off drawings and translate to quants Experience of ITTs and reading tender specs Understanding of site equipment and setup/layout.
Full driving licence and a willingness to travel nationally.
DBS Enhanced Certificate required or willingness to obtain.
  Desired: Ability to interpret JCT and NEC contract terminology.
CSCS / First Aid / Working at heights.
Current Electrical qualification/s.
