Design Manager / Senior Design Manager Design Manager - a leading privately-owned construction contractor are recruiting a Design Manager to join their growing design management team.
This is a great opportunity for a Design Manager to work on prestigious design and build projects including student accommodation, high-rise residential, build-to-rent and commercial developments across South Yorkshire and the East Midlands.
The initial project is a high-rise student accommodation development in Sheffield (£40m) with future projects across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire ranging from £20m to £60m.

Requirements: - Strong technical knowledge of architectural, building services, structural, civil design solutions - Experience delivering D&B projects as a Design Manager - Strong knowledge of CDM and Building Regulations - Experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor Responsibilities & Duties: - Review the technical aspects of details put forward by architects and engineers - Coordinate changes with the Design team to ensure best value - Lead design team meetings and coordinate build process - Liaise with client and consultant throughout the project Key Benefits: - Personable company with a friendly approach - Full order book of work for 2025 / 2026 - Genuine progression opportunities - Great training and development Salary & Package: - Basic salary of £65,000 - £85,000 (DOE) - Company Car or Allowance - Healthcare & Pension - 26 days holiday To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Senior Design Manager delivering construction projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor ranging from £10m - £20m.
