Design Engineer

We are advertising on behalf of our client, an international business for an experienced Design Engineer.
This is an exciting opportunity to join this business during a period of sustained growth with the ability to work in within a very varied and experienced team.
The role- Design new engineering products and processes using CAD software (2 & 3D) Create models and drawings of products.
Research new product ideas and methods.
Improve existing products and processes.
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of design processes and outcomes.
Write detailed reports and present findings to managers and customers.
Find creative design solutions to problems.
Collaborate with the Engineering, Sales and Manufacturing teams.
About you- Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software, (AutoCAD is essential, solid works desirable).
Experience of providing technical solutions to design challenges.
Confident in working with projects of varying size, timeframe and complexity.
Experience in design of components and assemblies.
Previous manufacturing experience with a knowledge of the production environment would be beneficial.
An understanding of design codes and classification rules and regulations.
Previous experience working on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Engineering qualification and or equivalent experience.
