We're recruiting a band 6 deputy team manager within Warrington Children and Young People's Mental Health Service.
The post holder will support the Clinical Team Manager in carrying continuing professional andmanagerial responsibility for their clinical area.
They will also contribute to maintenance of the overall standards, which will include assessment of need and delivery of care within the context of Effective Care Coordination.

Job description Job responsibilities Deputise for the Clinical Team Manager as Undertake delegated responsibilities as agreed with Clinical Team Support the formulation and implementation of clinical and operational practices, andprocedures as Participate in the recruitment, selection and induction of new Assist in the management and co-ordination of all services delivered to the service userwithin the clinical area optimising all available Support the implementation, monitoring and updating of an operational policy andphilosophy for the clinical Ensure the principles of Clinical Governance are incorporated in service delivery bymaintaining a high-quality service based on agreed clinical Ensure that service users are cared for within the confines of their respective Mental9.
Health Act status and adhere to the requirements of the MHA 1983 and thecorresponding Code of Practice.
This may include liaison with the home office forrestricted service users10.
Ensure adherence and implementation of Effective Care Ensure that Trust policies and procedures are adhered Assist in the development of local protocols to ensure a high standard of service deliveryis achieved and Support the process of staff participation in the formulation of new ideas/suggestions toimprove service user care and service Provide effective leadership to the designated Provide statistical information as Ensure service users finances, money and valuables are cared for in accordance withTrust Financial Policies and Codes of Assist in the maintenance and updating of the units equipment inventories and serviceschedules.
Ensure regular servicing, maintenance, repair or replacement as requiredadhering to Health & Safety, COSHH and Medical Devices Agency Ensure effective processes of communication are established, maintained and regularlyevaluated within designated Assist in the investigation of complaints and incidents at ward level in accordance withTrust Participate in Serious Untoward Incident investigations/reviews as required21.
Co-ordinate utilities, equipment and services and report/refer issues to respectivemanagers where Provide relevant staff with the necessary management supervision regarding thecoordination and delegation of duties, to ensure a comprehensive and consistent deliveryof care is Ensure that the clinical practice within the clinical area adheres to the Trusts policiesand Participate in managerial Appropriate participation of managing performance of staff as Appropriate participation of managing attendance of staff as required.
