Role Description This is a contract role for a Registrar and Controller of Examinations at Scholars School System.
The role involves overseeing day-to-day examination processes, maintaining student records, coordinating with academic departments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
This onsite role is primarily based in England but allows for flexibility.
Qualifications Experience in examination administration, record-keeping, and regulatory compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information systems CRM Processing and dealing with student complaints, disciplinary hearings and appeals with respect to assessments and exams, Managing, reviewing and developing student records systems (CRM).
Responsible for any data share information about student records with authorised stakeholders (example our University partner/s etc) Managing data accessibility, accuracy, confidentiality and integrity from student admissions to graduation including alumni and dropouts Administering different aspects of examinations in align with the exam/invigilation policies – i.e from scheduling, invigilation and storing ( where applicable) Attention to detail and accuracy in data management Knowledge of UK education policies and procedures Relevant certification or degree in Education or related field Essential Criteria: Ph.D. in related field Must know HEI and private sector Administrative experience and a strong record of increasingly responsible leadership in academic administrations, including supervisory and management experience Leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with staff in the office and across the university college Experience working in a diverse higher education environment and a commitment to advancing racial equity and justice Ability to deal sensitively with confidential information and ensure that the office maintains a high degree of professionalism and discretion Strong written and oral communication skills Compensation and Perks: Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 Working Hours: 9 am to 6 pm, on-site.
Travel requirements for business purposes.
Annual Leave: 28 days plus bank holidays.
Incentives: Up to £5k annually, based on quarterly KPIs post-probation.
Salary Growth: 3% annual increase, subject to KPI achievement.
A generous relocation allowance is available for candidates considering a move to either Birmingham or Manchester campuses.
