You will be responsible for delivering quality care services, strategic planning for developments within the home, and all day-to-day management matters.
Leading your team along with other professionals, you will provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child, focused on obtaining the best outcomes.
You will act as a positive role model to colleagues and children, meeting their everyday living needs and developing trusting relationships that foster recovery, growth, and lasting change.
Responsible for supervision and mentoring of staff, organisation of work patterns, facilitation of care-focused training, and accessing appropriate services to support childcare practices within the home.
Deputy Manager Requirements A minimum of 3 years experience working within children's residential care.
NVQ Level 4 in Management or Young People or above.
Knowledge of OFSTED legislation and safeguarding procedures.
Highly driven, proactive, and enthusiastic.
A strong people manager with a hands-on approach.
Experience with budgets and rotas.
Full driving licence is essential.
Flexibility in caring for the children, including working shifts and sleep-ins.
