Reporting to the Chief Digital and Information Officer, you will create & implement our long-term clinically led digital strategy & investment framework for the Trust, digitising services, connecting them to support integration & through these foundations, enable service transformation.
With a commitment to both system and organisational excellence, you will build on the successful implementation of Hive/Epic (Electronic Patient Record) & related systems, working in partnership with organisational & clinical leadership teams, delivering a Digital Strategy which is aligned to the Trust's overall strategy & priorities.
It goes without saying, as Deputy Chief Digital and Information Officer, you will be the expert lead for the evolution of clinical & business information processes, ensuring high-quality provision and support for business-critical systems across the Trust.
As a progressive thinker and creative disrupter, focused on the need to deliver benefits to patients, the public, and care professionals, you will work cohesively & collaboratively with the Clinical Groups and Executive teams across the Trust to generate innovative digital solutions to support clinical processes, improving both staff & patient experience.

Main duties of the job With significant experience as a digital leader in a complex organisation or system & experience leading digitisation strategy and roadmap development, you will be a key enabler of the Trust's Research and Innovation Strategy, working in close partnership with stakeholders nationally, regionally and across Greater Manchester, & deputise for the Chief Digital Information Officer when required.
You will develop innovative technological information systems & analytical solutions to support clinical care, research, operational management, & accountability, ensuring the delivery of data, intelligent information, reporting this to internal & external stakeholders.
With a track record of digital innovation in multiple settings, you will champion the use of digital technology & practices, engendering a digital mind-set throughout the Trust.
Naturally, you will be an inspirational leader, with the ability to influence and communicate openly & effectively listen, building strong, mutually advantageous relationships with Research partner organisations & across both the national and local health economies.
This will help maximise the opportunities for the Trust, in Health and Research (including the development of the infrastructure & governance to support Research and Innovation).
Lastly, with experience in governance arrangements & procurement protocols, you will access security, managing a range of access controls to the network, devices, applications, and data.
