Job summary The Dementia Activity Coordinator is a key member of the dementia team that will support the development, planning, coordination and delivery of our diverse dementia friendly day sessions.

Main duties of the job As the Activity Coordinator, you will work within the dementia service as part of the Compassionate Community Team.
The role involves travel within the St. Marys Hospice geographic and you will have an understanding of the unique needs of each community.
You will deliver specialist, therapeutic activity which aims to enable and empower people living with dementia at different stages of their lifespan, and from a wide range of backgrounds.
You will utilise community assets and embrace integrated working practices to provide a high-quality, sustainable service which focuses on developing skills, knowledge and social networks.
The role involves contact on a physical, psychological, spiritual and emotional level and you will need to be a skilled communicator.
You will undertake a range of Activity Coordinator tasks and administrative duties and will be accountable to the Admiral Nurse.
