Cyber Security Engineer

**YOU MUST BE ELIGABLE FOR SC CLEARANCE** My client is a leading Global Defense Organisation offering a great opportunity to join its security team.
We are looking for an experienced Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team in Coventry.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in risk management, cybersecurity, and security engineering to make a meaningful impact in an exciting and challenging environment.
What youll be doing: Conducting security threat and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Defining initial security requirements and implementing effective control measures.
Developing and executing security assurance strategies across the engineering lifecycle.
Essential Skills: Proven experience in risk management and understanding of engineering lifecycles.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and technical controls.
A proactive approach to developing and implementing security strategies.
Desirable: A background in STEM (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Risk Management) and experience within MOD defence or similar sectors.
