Your Role As the National Customs Operations Manager, you will oversee customs operations on a national level for all business units and stand-alone businesses.
Your mission will be to enhance productivity through continuous improvement, integrate innovative technologies, and harmonize customs processes across the country.
Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, you'll shape the future of customs management while supporting new business onboarding and driving customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities Oversee national customs operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Implement regional operational blueprints and align them with national practices.
Identify opportunities for automation and outsource standard processes to global services.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Support new business onboarding, including responding to RFQs.
Facilitate system integrations to streamline customs processes.
Represent customs operations in customer meetings and tailor solutions to client needs.
Lead projects to harmonize and improve operational processes.
Your Skills and Experiences Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Certified Customs Broker in a specific market (preferred).
Proven experience in customs operations management with a focus on compliance.
Proficiency in Cargowise or similar customs management software.
Expertise in process optimization, automation, and driving operational efficiency.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with stakeholder management expertise.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
