Customer Insight Data Analyst, Bradford

The Customer Insight Data Analyst will be responsible for analysing customer data captured through our loyalty scheme and delivering actionable insight to help drive business decisions and allow us to better serve our customers.
They'll provide regular reporting as well as ad hoc analysis in order to support tactical and strategic decision making across the business, with a particular focus on marketing and commercial departments.
This is a full time, permanent role that follows a hybrid model with a 4.5 day working week.
Our teams work from our vibrant head office in Bradford for three days and remotely for a day and a half, Monday to Friday.
Hilmore House, our head office, offers convenient amenities, including a subsidised on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, a prayer room, free parking, and frequent company wide events and promotions.
Applicants should live within a reasonable commuting distance of our office.
Some of your responsibilities will include: Delivering compelling insight into the behaviour of our customers to the wider business Providing ad hoc customer analysis at speed to answer strategic business questions Regular reporting of customer metrics, highlighting key contributing factors to change Automating the creation of aggregated data tables to be used in regular reporting Creating and maintaining data products that enable stakeholders to self-serve data Investigating the impact that major events and deals have on customer behaviour Creating advanced mathematical models to understand and predict customer behaviour We've built an incredibly diverse business, and we're working hard to make sure we truly represent the communities we serve.

For this role, we're looking for someone who is; Experienced at coding in SQL is essential, Python is desirable Passionate about doing the right thing for our customers Able to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders Experienced in the use of data visualisation techniques Able to produce content that is both engaging and aesthetically pleasing A natural problem solver that is able to think outside the box Comfortable working in a fast paced, reactive environment Experienced in presenting data and tailoring delivery to stakeholder needs Experienced in creating and deploying machine learning models Able to communicate complex data in a clear and concise way Highly organised with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Desirable Experience working in Customer Insight within the retail industry Experience in data engineering and data architecture principles Experience in product and project management techniques


Nominal Salary: To be agreed
