We are looking for a Creative Lead to join our Photo Studio team at Next!You will manage an amazing team of creative, self-motivated professionals and freelance talent working as one team to deliver the full end to end process of asset creation.
This is an extremely fast-paced role that covers all our in-house photography teams to maintain Next's photographic vision and creative beliefs.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is creative, has great leadership skills and has experience within a similar role.About the role To deliver content to the highest quality for the Next customer aligned to our brand principles & creative direction.
You will provide strong guidance to all levels of the Studio from a creative perspective.
You will be a focused, driven, hard-working individual that has the maturity and empathy to brief, manage and direct a large team of people across varying levels.
You must be able to remain calm and professional while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
This role demands a strong team player with exceptional communication skills who is eager to learn and develop and can grasp new information & adapt quickly.
You will be able to identify with the ever-changing requirements of a large studio team.
It is vital to build and maintain strong relationships with senior management within Next Studios, senior stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities Complete understanding of wider Next brand purpose and strategy, and how this reflects in your area.
Provide strong, clear and aspirational creative guidance and support to the studio team from a creative standpoint.
Communicate effectively with your team of Seniors, who you manage to evolve the aesthetics of the imagery & videography.
Consistent research and understanding of new visual trends, photographic advancements, photo studio industry standards, Pinterest,Instagram etc to stay inspired, in order to bring the correct approach to every shoot.
Maintain constant awareness of competitors, be ahead of the curve.
To lead meetings, design presentations to present to senior studio managers and work collaboratively with other Creative Leads.
Carry out performance reviews on a regular basis to ensure effective, motivated and supported teams.
Consistently strive to think outside the box with all processes and projects showing initiative and innovation.
Manage creative projects and photo/video shoots from initial kick-off meetings through to delivery.
Manage style guides for the wider studio team to follow.
Communicate & work collaboratively with the Brand Marketing & Product teams regarding current creative direction and styling trends.
Communicate effectively with the Creative Studio Manager to establish clear, recognizable and achievable goals.
Flexibility to work at other Next studios, external studios and on location when required.
