Counterbalance Forklift Driver

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, and load/unload materials within our warehouse.
This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Load and unload materials from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed.
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using the warehouse management system.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Execute basic maths calculations for inventory management and order fulfilment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and organised warehouse environment.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing duties.
Skills Proficient in materials handling with experience in warehouse operations.
Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
Experience with load/unload procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Competence in using a warehouse management system for tracking inventory movements.
Basic maths skills for accurate record keeping and inventory management.
