An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join a top-ranked practice in Leeds. As a Senior Associate or Legal Director in this highly regarded team, you will undertake a broad spectrum of corporate work, some of which will involve an international element, with as much responsibility as you are ready to take on.

As a senior member of the team, you will work closely with Partners across a broad spectrum of work, with as much responsibility as you're ready take on. There is a stellar client base with both national and international clients, including private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, large private groups and local publicly listed entities.
The work is of the highest quality and you will regularly work on cross-border deals. The team typically works on M&A, private equity, IPOs and ECM work, public takeovers as well as general corporate advisory matters. This makes for a varied and interesting role, with the opportunity to later specialise should you wish to do so.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
· Qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE.
· Experience gained within an established practice.
· Strong technical experience with the ability to run transactions with limited supervision.
· The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
· Ideally experience of supervising junior team members, or at least the desire to do so.
· A strong commercial acumen and willing to participate in business development.
