A leading corporate banking and capital markets organisation is seeking a Corporate Lending Distribution Specialist to join their team in London.
Main Purpose of this Role: The Corporate Lending Distribution Specialist will be a member of the Distribution team in London.
Distribution engages in the distribution of credit risk via funded and unfunded solutions to credit insurers, public finance entities and institutional co-investors.
The Corporate Lending Distribution Specialist will support the teams efforts in managing existing relationships with risk participants and in developping relationships to new risk participant groups such as private debt funds, family offices and other NBFI.
The Corporate Lending Distribution Specialist will support the senior members of the team in developing and refining risk sharing solutions such as risk insurance, participations and co-investments and optimise efficiency and pricing of existing risk sharing partnerships.
The Corporate Lending Distribution Specialist will represent the team in projects.
Key Activities and Competencies: Execution of risk sharing transactions and support senior team members in structuring complex risk sharing transactions.
Engagement and maintenance of relationship with existing risk partners and with potential risk partners in focus for CL Risk Distribution.
Support of the ongoing risk sharing activities on the trade finance product.
Coordination, negotiation and optimization of existing and new Risk Distribution transactions.
Observation of relevant markets and generation of market intelligence for further planning of the risk distribution strategy.
Supporting management and senior team members in connection with reporting and projects.
Support the asset management function and build relationship to existing and potential investors.
Complete other tasks as assigned including project related work.
Key Requirements: General: • Good understanding of loan markets, loan structuring and syndication tools.
• Motivated team player with a hands on approach.
• Strong communication skills.
Education/Certifications: University degree in business administration or comparable, or comparable vocational education / training.
Work Experience: Relevant years work experience in a loan structuring role.
Language: Essential - English and German language skills, both written & spoken.
